Being a part of the ARCC DAO means to stand as a beacon of hope and innovation. At the heart of ARCC lies our most precious asset; the remarkable potential of the industrial hemp plant. By revolutionizing the way we capture carbon, we can make a significant, measurable, and profitable impact together.
Our mission is to reduce the Global carbon footprint and protect our planet's most endangered species.
Plastic pollution, deforestation, and greenhouse gas emissions are the biggest challenges we have ever faced. We are in a Climate Crisis, but there is still time to avert disaster if we take bold, immediate action at the speed and scale necessary to enact serious transformational and sustainable global changes.
There is currently a lack of carbon credits on the market to meet global government mandated demands.
Starting in 2024, the world's largest polluters must purchase carbon credits to offset their bad pollution. (Airline companies, tech companies)
Bloomberg Green analyzed 190 million tons of carbon offsets purchased in more than 50,000 transactions in 2021. Not close enough to 3 Billion needed starting in 2024!!
Many countries have already banned single use petroleum plastics.
Sustainable products, not made with hemp, cost more to make than plastic products. Paper straws simply don’t work.
200,000 acres of rainforests are cut down everyday (the size of Los Angeles) to make paper and wood products.
Deforestation is leading cause of habitat loss for Endangered species
Trees do not grow fast enough to keep up with demand.
The Solution
Industrial hemp can address all of these problems. We can replace single-use petroleum plastics with biodegradable hemp-based plastics, inevitably stopping petroleum plastics from ever entering our oceans.
We can use hemp instead of trees to manufacture paper and building materials slowing deforestation, the biggest threat to endangered species.
Industrial Hemp cleans our air by capturing more carbon per acre than any available plant or technology including trees. Hemp can sequester up to 20 tons of carbon per acre, per year. A typical hardwood tree can only sequester 1 ton of carbon in its lifetime. 5 Months to grow hemp vs. 40 years to grow trees.
Hemp Can
Plant: 2,000 Acres of Hemp
Sequester: 40,000 Carbon Credits ($2.4 Million)
Yield: 20,000 Acres of Seed Crop for Future Plantings
Plant: 20,000 Acres of Hemp
Sequester: 400,000 Carbon Credits ($24 Million)
Yield: 200,000 Acres of Seed Crop for Future Plantings
Plant: 200,000 Acres of Hemp
Sequester: 4M Carbon Credits ($240 Million)
Yield: 2M Acres of Seed Crop for Future Plantings
